A fresh approach for Moresby

Having lived in cities around the world, I've been settled in Como since 2021 with my family. I'm deeply connected to this community, as multiple generations of my family have lived in Como and South Perth, since 1951. I love this community; its connection to the river, its green public spaces and the great people who call this area home. I’m passionate about building strong, connected communities and celebrating creativity and innovation.

By working together, we can achieve big outcomes for our community, making our City an even better place to live and work, and ideally, we can have a great time doing it. 

Over the past 25 years I’ve worked everywhere, from Sydney to Sierra Leone, from the circus to the United Nations. I’ve accumulated a wealth of experience working across all levels of government, running an innovative tech business and leading large-scale cultural events. 

Driven by a passion for sustainability and more equitable, connected communities, I work to create meaningful connections and deliver measurable results. I hold a Masters in International and Community Development. 

I’m not one to settle for the status quo; if there's an opportunity to improve the effectiveness and humanity of a system or process, I’ll be tenaciously agitating for change, with a smile and good humour. 

I’m a straight talker and excellent listener – I'm putting myself forward as an independent community doer, ready to represent you and champion better decisions in the City of South Perth.
